This pretty face? It ain't cheap! Granted a lot of these products last forever, and if I broke it down to price per use I'm sure the price tag would be much more reasonable (I hope at least!).
I hope you enjoyed this post!
xo Kathryn
Such a fun Tag..think I will be doing this one over on my blog soon:)
ReplyDeleteIt was really fun to do actually! I will keep an eye open for it on your blog :) Can't wait to see what yours cost!

Great post, I love reading these:) I cannot believe how fasts costs accumulate it's crazy! Honestly though, my stuff seems to last me forever haha:P
ReplyDeleteHaha agreed I didn't think I used much makeup on a daily basis but it added up quick!
DeleteYou got lucky with no eyeshadow and no eyeshadow brushes cause then it adds up even more! :)
ReplyDeleteI've been eyeing this tag for a while.. I want to do this one too! :)
Totally agree if I included the palettes and brushes I use on night's out it would be in the high 200's
DeleteYour face is so cheap compared to mine! I didnt include brushes when did my post but I did have shadows. I think I need to start cutting back what I actually use on my face everyday. Great post!

This is such a cool tag! I'm kind of afraid to calculate my own haha :P I've also been interested in trying out the Maybelline BB Cream, I might have to pick it up next time I'm at Walmart!
ReplyDeleteI definitely was surprised at how quickly it added up...I really like it I would love to hear what you think about the BB cream if you try it!
Deletehaha I love this tag!
ReplyDeleteI might have to try this out and see for myself how much my face would cost.. I think I'm scared! haha

This is a great post and I haven't seen it before (I saw the $20 challenge but don't want to buy products just because they're under $20). I am obsessed with your Nicki Minaj lipstick, girl! And I'm also curious to know what you think of the BB.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great lipstick but can be a put finicky! I love the BB cream I did a review a couple posts back on it you can check out :)

this is super fun! I wanna go back and count how much my face costs.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore your blog. The makeup is wonderful and I'll really love to try that out!

I love so many of your daily products! It's crazy to think what we spend on makeup, as it is usually one piece or so bought at a time xx
ReplyDelete- Boho Vanity -
Exactly! I purchased everything so far apart it doesn't feel like $175 ! Thanks for the comment hun.

Great Post! I might do the same post. It got me thinking in the products I use haha x

Can't wait to see your version of this tag!

My face is probably just as expensive!! Although probably more so because I wear eye shadow! Great post though, it's fun to see our "face breakdown"! Although you're right, I'm very sure that if you broke the cost down to per use, the number will sound almost logical ;-)
ReplyDeleteBreaking it down by use is my way to make myself feel better about the high total cost haha :)

Awesome!! I'm totally loving these posts because I'm super snoopy! lol I've been meaning to do one! It's my goal for the end of the month! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see yours hun :) hopefully your total will be close to mine and will make me feel better about mine haha
DeleteInteresting post! I wonder how much my face would cost, this is not a bad post idea :) You've got some relatively inexpensive products but also some higher end ones as well, like the Tarte and MAC. I really want to get my hands on a Tarte blush, it's too bad they're not available where I live!
ReplyDeleteThey aren't!! I'll send you one if you want ?!
DeleteThanks hun I appreciate the comment and the support :)
ReplyDeleteI love that mascara and it is something I never would have picked up myself. Glad I found it!
ReplyDeleteXo
I'm not sure I wanna know how much my face cost ahhhh
ReplyDeleteHaha I was pretty confident mine wouldn't be to bad but it adds up quick. I think the only consolation is that everyone's is expensive haha
DeleteOmg thats crazy! I get most of my make up products on sale but I bet the retail price would be insane. Im a new follower here, if you have a chance stop by my beauty blog :)

You are so smart I wish I could wait for sales but usually when I want a new product I need that instant gratification haha. Thank you for the follow sweetie I really appreciate it ..definitely following you as well :)
DeleteThis is such a creative idea! I've been wanting to try quite a few things you have listed here, it's good to see they work well enough to be used everyday. (:
ReplyDeleteI love everything I use everyday ! Would totally recommend it all :)
DeleteHey I nominated you for an award. Please go to: http://kreamiblush.blogspot.com x
ReplyDeleteAww thanks hun I truely appreciate it!

"This pretty face? It ain't cheap!", that's funny! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit like this, trying to figure out the cost of stuff all the time. I'm more into figuring out how much for a month or year though to put it in perspective and be able to compare it to other life costs... I did an approximate of my skincare costs a little bit back when I thought I had my skincare routine was there to stay but then I got into beauty boxes and added a few thing and I just don't know where I stand anymore!
I'm going to keep this idea in mind for later. Right now it would be impossible to calculate since I've had most of my make-up for more than a couple years so the cost is near-nothing monthly but I'm getting more "into" it and it will surely multiply!
It was interesting to see your costs. I found interesting that your BB cream, which to me right now is a staple to my beauty routine, is the pretty much the least expensive thing you put on your face! And I think you could lower your makeup cost by putting half that amount in skincare and putting the brushes and mattifying treatment in another category too to lower your makeup costs. hehe. A trick, obviously, since you'd be spending the money either way and saving nothing, but it makes a person feel better? hehe
Can I give a small comment on the font of your comments? It might only be me but I normally skim through and read a bunch of them and I can't seem to get past the font - it's very difficult for me to read...
I love the feedback sweetie I have changed the font of my comments.. hopefully this makes it a little easier to read.. The font before was pretty but in the end just not practical. And your right my BB cream is the least expensive product I never realized that!
DeleteOh my, I wrote a freakin novel!
ReplyDeleteI love novels :)
DeleteThanks darling I appreciate you taking the time to read it and comment :)
ReplyDeleteI'm still meaning to this..soon, soon lol. Can you tell me more about that MAC blotting powder?
ReplyDeleteFor sure! I adore this because I have really oily skin.. it gives no coverage so it won't change the look of your makeup.. I use a dense brush to apply it because I find anything softer doesn't pick up enough product.. usually I apply this over my powder in the morning and then at lunch I will do a quick once over to get rid of any oil peaking through!
DeleteI love this post and I have seen it floating around the blog world. I jumped on the pretty little cloud! Here is my post!
